2012 BC Soccer Girls B Cup Provincial Championships

 July 5-8, Kelowna, BC

Congratulations on qualifying for the BC Soccer Association Girls B Cup Provincial Championships!

 The2012 Championships will be held July 5-8 in Kelowna, BC, with teams from 6 regions (approximately 860 players) participating. The tournament schedule includes three days of round robin soccer games and final games, as well as a coaches meeting, opening ceremonies with all participants, and a splash zone party at the H2O complex.

The event is sanctioned by BC Soccer and is part of the Canadian Soccer Association’s Long-Term Player Development (LTPD), a soccer-specific adaptation of the Long-Term Athlete Development model (LTAD) developed by Canadian Sport Centres. The Central Okanagan Youth Soccer (COYSA) is the host organisation for this tournament.

Host City

The 2012 Championship will be held in the community of Kelowna, which is the largest city in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley and borders the Okanagan Lake.  Located about 150 kilometers north of the United States border and 400 kilometers east of Vancouver, Kelowna is easily accessible from the northern, southern, and western branches of Highway 97.
